Tax Manager
Servello CPA is a growing, modern accounting firm serving a mix of closely held businesses and individual clients across industries. We’ve built a strong reputation on relationship-driven service and technical accuracy — and we’re ready for the next chapter. That’s where you come in.
We’re hiring a Tax Manager (CPA) to help us scale. This is not just a reviewer role — this is your chance to step into leadership, shape workflows, and help build your own team.
What You’ll Do
- Review corporate, partnership, and individual income tax returns
- Serve as a quality control lead, ensuring accurate and timely filings
- Work closely with the firm owner to improve review processes and overall efficiency
- Mentor junior staff and seasonal team members
- Contribute to client strategy discussions and problem-solving
- Participate in hiring and developing your future tax team
- Help shape the future of a growing practice rooted in high standards and healthy work-life balance
What You Bring
- Active CPA license
- 7+ years of tax experience in public accounting
- Proven experience reviewing 1120, 1120S, 1065, and 1040 returns
- Strong leadership instincts and a desire to mentor
- Confidence with multi-state, basis tracking, entity selection, and other complex topics
- Excellent communication skills and a team-first mindset

Compensation & Benefits
We offer a competitive compensation package that includes:
- Base salary: $120k – $140k
- Performance Based Bonuses – 10-15%

Tax Accountant
Servello CPA is looking for a Tax Accountant to grow with our firm in Westborough, MA. We provide tax and accounting services to corporations, partnerships, non-profit organizations, individuals, trusts and estates. We take pride in properly advising our clients to achieve their short-term and long-term goals.
General Responsibilities
- Prepares federal, state, or local tax returns for individuals, business establishments, or other organizations.
- Examines accounts and records and computes taxes owed according to prescribed rates, laws, and regulations.
- Advises management regarding effects of business activities on taxes, and on strategies for minimizing tax liability.
- Ensures that the organization complies with taxing authority requirements.
- Organizes and maintains tax records and conducts tax studies and special projects.
Job Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field
- Experience: Appropriate certifications with 1-5 years of related experience

Senior Tax Consultant
Servello CPA is looking for a Senior Tax Consultant to grow with our firm in Westborough, MA. We provide tax and accounting services to corporations, partnerships, non-profit organizations, individuals, trusts and estates. We take pride in properly advising our clients to achieve their short-term and long-term goals.
General Responsibilities
- Prepare and review corporate, individual, non-profit, and partnership returns.
- Exercise professional judgment to identify potential tax issues and develop solutions.
- Advise management regarding effects of business activities on taxes, and on strategies for minimizing tax liability.
- Review and Analyze client financials to present value for client engagements.
- Organizes and maintains tax records and conducts tax studies and special projects.
- Supervise, develop, train and mentor staff including performance and engagement reviews
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting or Taxation
- CPA or working towards certification with 3-5 years of tax experience
- Ability to handle workload effectively under time-sensitive deadlines
- Strong tax technical skills pertaining to the preparation and review of various return types
- Ability to research various tax concepts to address tax notices from the taxing authorities
